Searching For Thirty

Today, Amazon.com unveils full text search for 120,000 of the books stocked on its virtual shelves. A text seach for "30th birthday fun" finds 30th birthday mentions in books you might not expect, but mixed results in terms of legibility:

"In May of 2001, the couple celebrated Dash's 30th birthday with a party at Grove Street Lounge in Manhattan. Aaliyah played the host and the party guests included Jay-Z, Missy . . ." [Aaliyah : More Than a Woman, p. 137]

"The often-outlandish New York Post seized the opportunity to poke some fun: 'Hiller held onto the hair for years, finally giving . . . years, finally giving it to his son Paul as a 30th birthday gift." [Beethoven's Hair, p. 218]
