Sunday Times update: Jude Law resisted being too sexy before 30. ''It wasn't a conscious choice to not be a movie star,'' he says. ''It's just that I wanted to play as many varied parts as I could before I was 30, working with directors who I knew I would be learning from." But now that he's 30, Law is preparing to let it all hang out in a remake of "Alfie," in which he takes full advantage of his sexiness. "Until now, with Alfie, I never, ever wanted to play a lothario,'' he says. ''Now, it felt like one of the big challenges left.
