AT 30: A few months into his residency in internal medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center. According to our med school expert Dr. Chris G., the newly doctored Dean would have been "on the wards, taking care of patients medically.... an internist does a lot of rectal exams." After a brief post-undergrad stint following in his father's footsteps as an investment broker, Dean had checked in to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, from which he graduated at age 29. He made his first run for office in his mid-thirties, winning a spot in the Vermont state legislature.
