Dear Mr. or Ms. Age 30, FREE XXX HOT HOT WOW!

Our research for the book revealed that with the 30th birthday comes an overall drop in tolerance, with 30-somethings being much more likely to find certain behaviors "absolutely wrong" — such as stealing office supplies — than folks in their 20s. We're not surprised to find that this lack of tolerance extends to spam; 73% of people 30+ say "Spam is a real problem on the Internet and more should be done to control it," versus 63% of 18 to 29-year-olds.

You may be more crochety, but don't fret too much, you're also more savvy. Over 30s are less than half as likely to fall for a spam scam as 18-29ers. (9% vs. 20%) A hint for the younger folks: There's no such thing as free porn.
