Author Hits the Big 3-0 in Vegas

Las Vegas... the city where Britney Spears decided to tie the knot about a week ago because, in a rough paraphrase of her words, she "didn't want to wait until she was 30 to get married." Las Vegas... the place where, today, your humble Book of Ages co-author flips the odometer to the next decade, becoming the first (and, to this date, only) Book of Ages author to reach the landmark age of 30.

So how do things look from the other side? Hazy, my friends, hazy. But maybe that's just the dawning realization that I can now compare myself against the statistics in Book of Ages 30 without cheap excuses ("I'm only 29 and 7/8ths years old") to fall back on. Or maybe it's the hangover. Either way, a sobering thought on a sobering-up morn.
